IM

I like the IM reference service that we provide. When answering a question through IM services, I often catch myself making spelling mistakes. Luckily, IM is an informal was to communicate. I also have found that I need to send a message every minute or so, since they are waiting and might think that they have been forgotten. I think it is a good tech tool for kids and teens to access reference services.
